Our Company

We understand the importance of comprehending your needs and communicating effectively with you and your personnel while cultivating a trusting, valued relationship. Technology is a highly regarded aspect of EGP. Technology enables us to be more efficient and productive. It improves the quality of our products and services as well as our lives. Technology gives us the tools to become better communicators both internally and externally.

About the Company

EGP PLLC opened in 1981 and has since grown to over 28 employees at offices in North Little Rock and Heber Springs. The firm's growth is due in part to the attraction of highly talented associates. EGP believes it must attract the brightest associates to provide the best value-added services to its clientele. Bruce Engstrom, founding partner and John Green, Managing Partner, credit this growth to the firm's philosophy: Working with people, not just numbers. According to Engstrom that philosophy means that our commitment to our clients and our staff is our top priority as consultants, trusted advisers and true business partners.

The primary reason clients cite for changing accountants is lack of guidance from their existing firms. The professional staff at EGP work closely with clients and offer help on all aspects of their business and personal finances. Consulting with a client is not a single occurrence, it's a dynamic process that changes with the client's needs. EGP listens to client's concerns and goals and finds innovative ways to address each situation. Thinking creatively and finding alternative approaches to solving problems are crucial to helping you achieve your objectives.  One of the best services EGP offers its clients is the foresight to solve problems before they arise. The experts at EGP understand that the firm's true value lies in solving problems for you and being proactive rather than reactive when addressing challenges and opportunities.

EGP has personnel experienced in the fields of employee stock ownership plan feasibility, mergers and acquisitions, natural resource tax consulting, financial statement analysis, profitability enhancement, estate tax planning and gift tax planning. The firm also handles traditional auditing, accounting, taxation, small-business services, and consulting services including business valuation and litigation. Many clients attribute a large portion of their financial success to the role we have played in guiding their financial decision making. Helping clients develop a plan and guiding them as it comes together is what we enjoy about this business.

We have made a major financial commitment to state-of-the-art computer systems and telecommunications equipment in order to have access to the most advanced tools available to serve our clients. Few public accounting firms in the state have made the investment to become completely paperless. We are dedicated to defining the future in our industry with advanced technologies at our fingertips, and our improved work flow processes and document management system has tremendously enhanced our efficiency and accessibility in and out of the office. This decision has significantly improved our service.

The firm's first thirty years have been rewarding, interesting and exciting. We hope you can play a part in making the next thirty years even better.
